Samuel Webster
Born 1967, Samuel studied illustration at Manchester Polytechnic, after graduation he moved to London to work in animation, first for Universal pictures then on the ill-fated Dick Williams film ‘the thief and the cobbler'. After taking time to travel he returned to London and worked as a silk screen printer at L.C.A print studios, before  working for around four years as a freelance illustrator and model maker. Uncomfortable with the constraints of commercial art, he decided on a career as a full time artist supporting himself with occasional trips abroad as a scenic painter working on various projects including large scale murals in Paris, Norway and most recently King Abdullah's new palace complex in Riyadh.

Recent exhibitions include Miami scope and gallery12 in north London. To read a Q&A with Samuel on his work and inspirations, click on 'About Samuel Webster' below
